Fundraising
There are many ways to Donate!
National Sports Trust Fund is the only donation method that will produce a tax receipt. The NSTF is a charitable organization, the ORC is not.
National Sports Trust Fund
Trailer Fund
Our current trailer, which has faithfully served us for 40 years, can no longer keep up with our expanding club and increasing number of athletes. To continue supporting the wishes and dreams of our rowers, we need a second trailer to transport boats to and from events efficiently and safely!
The goal is $58,000. A new trailer is our #1 fundraising priority.
Equipment Fund on Amilia
The Equipment Fund on Amilia when registering helps the club to purchase oars, small hardware for the boats and motorboats.
Athlete Fund
The Ottawa Rowing Club Athlete Fund was established in 2008 for the purpose of assisting Ottawa Rowing Club athletes in rowing endeavours at local and international events. In 2019 the ORC amalgamated the Athlete Fund and the Brian Adams Fund. In 2024, in memory of Cliff Brimmel, a long time jr. program coach at the ORC, donations were made through the Athlete Fund. The Athlete Fund will continue to support high performance members of the ORC as well as supporting current or prospective rowers who demonstrate financial need to pursue their dreams in rowing.
