ORC Doors Open & Free Try Rowing Day

May 21, 2017

The Ottawa Rowing Club, established in 1867 and home to almost 1000 members, is Canada’s oldest and second largest rowing club in Canada. Our site on the Ottawa River features the original boathouse containing displays of ORC rowing history, and a larger boathouse containing a fleet of rowing shells. Learn about rowing and its history in Ottawa by visiting us on June 3 from 10am to 2pm during Doors Open Ottawa. Also on June 3 between 10am and 2pm we’ll be giving the opportunity to try rowing for free off our docks. Looking to try a new sport? This is your chance to try rowing on the Ottawa River. First come, first serve on the day.

You can find us at 10 Lady Grey Drive, just off of Sussex Drive near the Canadian Mint and across from the Saudi Embassy.
