Welcome On Board to the ORC Executive

VP Recreational:   Andrew Harfield – started rowing in the mid 1990s as a Junior and progressively advanced to U23 and Senior programs. Along the way, he says,  “I did win CSSRAs twice and Henley 3 times in crew boats. I also worked as an instructor for the Youth Camp and ARL programs.”  We welcome Andrew back! 

Secretary:  Andrew Thompson – began his time with the ORC in 2009, rowing for Glebe Collegiate and our Junior Men’s program. Since graduating from Glebe, he has dedicated his time to coaching novices, sparking people’s interest in our favourite sport. He’s also spent much of his time volunteering around the Club grounds with projects including landscaping, building racks, repairing docks, and many more. As an employee, he spent two years serving as our Boat Repair Technician, keeping our fleet afloat.
