COVID SCREENING & BOOKING

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

All Members, Staff, Coaches must book an appointment prior to coming to the club. Program coaches will book athletes for a given day and time. 

A link to the google schedule is provided to registered members by the Registrar. Only registered members, coaches, staff and stewards can use this form. Do not share the link with others. Program and instructional coaches will book athletes for a given time and day, private boat owners will use a Google Form booking system, and indoor rowing activities will be restricted to program blocks and individuals will book using a Google Form booking system. 

If you have misplaced your booking form link, please email the Club Registrar 

Only the Head Coach, Staff and Stewards may book appointments for Guests. If you would like to ask for a Guest appointment, contact the Head Coach  or call 613-241-1120. Put “Guest appointment request ” in the subject line of your email. Allow two business days for a response.

If you need to access the grounds on an urgent basis, please call 613-241-1120. We will do our best to answer your call as soon as possible. Emergency Responders are the only exception.

 

HOW DO I CHECK IN?

Before you enter the Club grounds, you must meet the following three criteria:

  1.  Have a BOOKED APPOINTMENT :  Your Program coach books you in or if you are a private boat owner you need to book online using GOOGLE FORM (To come)
  2. “PASS” RESULT on the ACTIVE COVID SCREENING TOOL
  3. This “PASS” result must be documented by the Club

 

HOW DO I DO MY ACTIVE COVID SCREENING and DOCUMENT IT?

Use this screening tool:

And show “PASS” result to your Coach at the CHECK IN to the Club grounds. They will update the information on the contact tracing sheet for you.

 If you do not have access to a Coach, email a PDF of the result to covidscreeningresults@ottawarowingclub.com

If you do not have access to the internet, please contact The Head Coach by calling 613-241-1120.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF I FAIL MY ACTIVE COVID SCREENING?

1.If you FAIL your ACTIVE COVID SCREENING, you must let your Coach or Head Coach know immediately. You can do this by email or by phone.

  1. Follow the instructions on this tool COVID Self-Assessment Tool  
  2. DO NOT enter the club grounds until you are directed that it is safe to do so. Discuss with the Head Coach prior to returning to the Club. 

 

These steps are vital to allow the Club meet the requirements to stay open. Thank you in advance for following these rules.
