The Summer Youth Crew Day Program is a great way for boys and girls ages 12-17 to learn about rowing and decide whether to take up the sport more seriously. For those who have already tried and enjoyed rowing, camp is a way to improve their skills!

This program runs in week-long sessions during July and August from 8:30pm-3:30pm, except on public holidays. The program is directed by experienced rowers and coaches who are qualified in first aid and CPR.

Rowers get out on the Ottawa River daily, and learn water safety, boat rigging and maintenance. The program also features other age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities.

Equipment and supplies: dress for the weather in snug, comfortable sports clothing; socks, running shoes, hat and water bottle recommended. Lunch and snacks required. Sunscreen protection is also required.
