Junior Learn To Row is an introductory, coed, non-competitive program offering youth aged 12 to 18 a chance to try the sport of rowing on the Ottawa River. Participants are introduced to rowing in a fun, engaging, safe environment. No prior rowing experience is required.

In addition to rowing technique, we will cover coxing technique; boat safety; and concepts of physical well-being, including hydration, core strength, flexibility, and diet.

The goal of Junior Learn to Row is to introduce new rowers to the basics of the sport and develop a solid foundation of skills and knowledge of rowing, which they can then build upon in the Junior U15, U17 or U19 rowing programs and further into the Junior Competitive program.
