Crews from the ORC’s junior and senior competitive programs are returning home after a week of racing in St. Catharines, ON at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, which is the biggest and toughest competition of the summer.  The Royal Canadian Henley Regatta is a week long regatta (August 6 to 12) featuring Canadian and international crews racing over a 2000m course.

ORC crews closed the week with three Henley gold medals, adding to the five Henley gold medals already won by the ORC masters program last weekend.

Gold medal wins were in the senior men’s lightweight dash (Alex Kunkel), the senior women’s lightweight four and the senior women’s lightweight eight.
