The Ottawa Rowing Club, Canada’s oldest rowing club established in 1867, will be hosting the Tulip Relay Rowing Regatta on Dow’s Lake on Saturday, May 12.  Racing will begin at 10am and wrap up by 12pm.
The second edition of this event will feature Ottawa Rowing Club rowers racing over a 250m distance of Dow’s Lake during the first weekend of the Tulip Festival.  Crews will row 250m out, around a buoy and race the 250m back in a relay style competition that will feature single, double and quad rowing shells (boats).
Spectators are welcome!  This is a fantastic opportunity to get a unique up close view of competitive rowing crews racing head to head. Join us as we celebrate the opening of the Rideau Canal, as well as the beautiful Tulip Festival and as we kick off the 2018 rowing season!
